So with no models shoots or flowers to photograph I have fallen back to making pictures in the composite style that I enjoy. Here we have a re-edit from last months shoot, along with various elements of fantasy stuff.

The original images I get from Adobe Stock Library then re work into a new composite picture. Its fun and makes you think about what you are doing with digital manipulation.

March Digital Art

This month is a piece of digital art I have long wanted to do. To remember one of Northampton’s favourite sons … The classical composer, the late Sir Malcolm Arnold. He created such great pieces of music, many for film like ‘Bridge over the River Kwia’, ‘Whistle Down the wind,’ ‘The Inn of Sixth Happiness,’ and ‘The heroes of Telemark,’ but to name a few. He also created opera and music for dance included here are his eight English Dances - which are some of my favourite pieces of music. Very melodic. Only three for the road this month, but I have tried to make them as real as possible for fantasy pictures. The first image is called ‘Aliens ate my head and the return of the lost test card people’. the middle image is called ‘Man of the woods’ and the final picture is titled ‘Lady Margaret’ Please enjoy.

I have noy done this in a while, but this months Digital Art gallery is inspired by brilliant and hugely talented UK Artist and painter Scott Tetlow. I found his work so compelling that i wanted to emulate it. And here are the results, I hope they live up to the pictutes they are inspired upon? Something a little different to end the month with. I did some fine art pictures in the style of the old masters using a special method in photoshop that mimics brush strokes. Took some doing and I still have not perfected it yet, but its a work in progress. The other pictures here are on the theme of dance. A woman leaping in a misty forest. A couple dancing on the New York Metro and a surreal picture of a couple tango dancing in death valley, california while their daughter plays on at the piano. Hope you all enjoy?
