FLOWERS

March Flower Updates and a few extras

I got my hands on a great selection of flowers this month and got straight to work on them. The flowers come courtesy of Chris and Wendy at the brilliant Brambles Florist and amazing Flowers To Yours. Check their links out as you will not be disappointed. Thanks also to Amy for her help and a few extras from the garden she put in.

I would very much wish to dedicate this months flower galley to my friend Tyler Dyce x

February Flowers Update

Another productive flower shoot in the home studio with absolute thanks to my friends at Brambles Florist and Flowers To Yours. Chris and Wendy sorted me out with such a great selection of flowers, which is no mean feat due to the covid lockdown and brexit ramifications. But here they are. Hope you enjoy them and pop back next month to see more?

January Flower Update

With this Covid lockdown Part III going around, I know its hard for suppliers to get their hands on a lot of things. Flowers being no exception, but my friends at Brambles Florist and Flowers To Yours, Chris and Wendy have done a great job for me and pulled some rabbits out of the bag. Thanks to them both, in no small way and to Amy for helping me take the pictures.

December Flower Update

November Flowers Update

As I mentioned before, its a good job my flowers providers have not closed down during the covid-19/0.2 lockdown we have just been through. They gave me an amazing choice of flowers to choose from, and to which I hope I have done my best. So another shout out to Chris and Wendy at both Brambles Florist and Flowers to yours A thanks also to my wife for the couple of Dahlias she throw in for good measures. x

October Flowers Update

September Flowers Update

We have a bumper show of flowers this month with some extra stuff Amy picked up on her journey, but mainly the crop from the amazing Brambles Florist and Flowers for yours. So a huge shout to both Chris and Wendy at the shop for their help. I could not have done it without you. And a special mention again to wendy for the fuschia from her garden. Check out their web sites and shop highlighted above.

August Flower Update

Thanks this month to my wife Amy and a huge special thanks to Wendy at Brambles Florist for getting me some very delicate flowers I had asked for. I hope I can do them justice. Here is August flowers at the turn of another season. So lets see what next month brings us?

Hello to Brambles Florist

Sadly the shop I was using to provide my flowers closed down with the Covid-19 pandemic. So many people and businesses did not make it through so thanks to Blossoms for all they did for me. You were great.

But life moves on … and I am happy to welcome Brambles Florist who are a great shop providing a wide arrange of flowers to the public.

Check out their business and great service here at www.bramblesflowers.com

July Flower Update

Well here it is after the long lock down, the flowers are back with a great thank you to Brambles Florist. I have been testing out some new backgrounds and less photoshop with these, and colouring by Capture One …. So here they are please enjoy.

March Flower Update

This month I have rested the holga lens images and gone more for the pinhole lens takes as they look a lot better. I don’t know how long I can go on doing this as the florist is proberbly closed down with all this virus shit that going around. I do hope she re-opens and I can start again?

*NEW* To Flower Updates - Pinhole Lens Images.

Late last year I obtained through crowd funding a pinhole lens to fit my Nikon camera. Its a specialist lens which you would not use every day, but good to use on subjects like flowers. So with this in mind I am adding onto the Flower Updates these new Pinlens pictures. Similar to the Holga Lens, everything is blurred, but can be very interesting. I am at some point going to try it out on a model, but thats for a later date. Please enjoy these.

February Flower Update

This is it for another month. Here are all the flower images for February. Viewers may have noticed that everything is done in fours. Unlike before when I would go to the flower shop each week to get new plants, I now only go once a month and get four flowers. Even if its a five week month, I limit it to four. It saves time and energy, and looks even numerically…... So now you know !

January Flower Update

Fresh new year with a healthy offering of flower pictures to be going on with.. I have purchased a Pin Hole Lens for my Nikon and will try it out on next months flower pictures. I hope it works and I can show you all the results. Stay tuned.

December Flower Update Extra

This is a few extra pictures of the clematis plant I got from Blossoms Florist this month and give them a sort of painting look to them.

December Flower Update

Here are the flower updates for the month with a bit … just a bit … of a christmas feeling about them. In a year of change whem we said a sad goodbye to Goldsmith Flowers and a warm welcome to Blossoms Florist, I hope for some stability and continuity in 2020
